Sarah is a PK Two parent at Blue House Preschool and a first grade teacher at Trinity Episcopal School. She has been teaching at independent schools for 12 years, and she earned a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Marymount University.
"Simply put, we are in love with your school! The academic, yet fun structure that you foster in the classroom has permeated our home. Our daughter's teachers and the entire staff have been patient, kind, and such a positive influence on her during these formative years."

Preschool is all about exploring and having fun! Our program uses proven best practices to foster a deep love of learning and build a great foundation for your child's entire educational journey. Activities can look like unstructured play at first glance, but a closer look reveals a methodical and intentional framework for developing knowledge and skills.

"We chose Blue House because of its focus on educating the whole child as well as fostering a sense of family among its students. We are especially impressed with the school's Buddy program, as we are big believers in mentorship."

Parents of Charlie K., PK Two
All learning, particularly in preschool, is predicated on trust and nurturing relationships with both adults and peers. A team of educators keeps our student-teacher ratio extremely low (4:1 in PK Two) and ensures kids get the attention they need to thrive. As children get older, student-to-student learning becomes more important, including across grade levels. Students in PK Four and Bridging K get paired with fourth-grade buddies for playdates and mentorship opportunities.
